Description
Formulation Scientist (food sciences, chemistry) wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- University Degree (BSc. / MSc.) in Analytical Chemistry or in a related discipline
- Several years of experience working in food sciences, chemistry or other related areas
- Proven track record of performing trouble-shooting and maintaining instruments and lab infrastructure, knowledge in stability measurements is an asset
- Strong knowledge in relevant laboratory tools and procedures (HPLC, DSC, PXRD, Raman and light microscopy)
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Planning, executing and interpreting experiments and / or experimental results in the field of technical compound profiling
- Being in charge of analytical investigations such as physicochemical characterization and quantification as well as preparative activities, e.g. formulation development and supply
- Performing trouble-shooting and maintaining instruments and lab infrastructure
