Proteus Europe is searching for IT FA Senior Functional Analyst for a contract role based in Luxembourg.Starting date: September 2017
Duration: Until with possible renewal per 6 months period
Languages: French and English

Your New role :-
In accordance with the quality and security procedures currently in place within the
IT FA department, the Functional Analyst takes a lead role in analyzing, documenting and proposing functional solutions to best meet business needs.
In this context, the Functional Analyst will carry out the following duties:
- Understand the business issues and complex requirements (New customer / new services of existing clients or new FA products).
- Propose functional solutions, including internal processes improvements
- Translate the business requirements into functional specifications which include system design elements and detailed test plans for the proposed solution
- Manage and assist offshore resources on functional aspects
- Design and execute the test scenarios and test scripts
- Manage change requests related to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are maintained
- On a weekly basis, provide effective and informative progress evaluations in terms of outstanding milestones, current status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies
- Communicate effectively and facilitate team interaction
- Ensure that the appropriate documentation is made available for the end user and IT Support
Your Skills and experience :-
Essential Skills :-
- Proven record of analysis work on medium to large projects, with a minimum of 10 years related experience
- Proven record in functional analysis, specification writing, testing and software implementation with a minimum of 10 years related experience
- Excellent understanding of the banking sector, particularly Fund Administration and Middle Office in a multi-geographical environment and multi-jurisdictions usage
