Proteus Europe is searching for IT FA Technical Expert for a contract role based in Luxembourg.Starting date: September 2017
Duration: Until with possible renewal per 6 months period
Languages: French and English - German is an asset

Your New role :-
In accordance with the quality and security procedures currently in place within the
IT FA department, the Technical Expert takes a lead role in analyzing, documenting and proposing technical solutions to best meet business needs.
In this context, the Technical Expert will carry out the following duties:
- Collect and understand the business issues and needs
- Propose technical solutions, including internal processes improvements
- Translate the business requirements into functional specifications which include system design elements and detailed test plans for the proposed solution
- Manage and assist offshore resources on technical aspects
- Design and execute the test scenarios and test scripts
- Manage change requests related to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are maintained
- Build and maintain the technical architecture of the FA platforms
- On a weekly basis, provide effective and informative progress evaluations in terms of outstanding milestones, current status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies
- Communicate effectively and facilitate team interaction
- Ensure that the appropriate documentation is made available for the end user and IT Support
Your Skills and experience :-
Essential Skills :-
- Knowledgeable over Oracle/Unix/Linux development environment using a standard interface tool such as Toad or SQL*Plus AND/OR Knowledgeable over JavaScript (Ext JS) framework
- Proven record of analysis work on medium to large projects, with a minimum of 8 years related experience
- Proven record in specification writing and software development with a minimum of 8 years related experience
