Data Quality Operator

(Health Sector)

3 to 6 month contract

Location

North Road, Finglas, Dublin 11

Where travel is required this will normally be within Ireland.

Role

The Data Quality Operator will be responsible for supporting the ongoing maintenance & improved data quality. The role will undertake data remediation activities to resolve data quality and integrity issues. The role will report to the Data Quality Operations Manager.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Resolve data quality incidents and issues, on an ongoing basis, adhering to standard operating procedures and business processes.
  • Conduct data quality duties in line with the Data Quality Framework
  • Support the maintenance of the Data Quality Framework
  • Support the implementation of data quality initiatives
  • Desired: a working knowledge of the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) Standards

Experience

  • Experience in the day-to-day operations of data in various formats.
  • Experience working with one or more of the following; registers, record indexes, databases, or workflow tools and processes.
  • Experience working within an evolving and complex environment.
  • Experience working collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Knowledge

  • Demonstrate operational experience in data systems.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of relevant IT systems.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the Irish health service
  • Excellent MS Office skills particularly in Excel and Access.
  • OHMPI experience would be advantageous.

  • Display analytical skills to enable interpretation and evaluation of data from multiple data sources.
  • Demonstrate initiative and ability in the resolution of complex issues.

Communication Skills:

  • Demonstrate good interpersonal communication skills to facilitate work with team members.
  • Demonstrate experience in presenting data in reports and dashboards.
