Description
My client, a world leading international cable company is looking for an exceptional Microsoft SCCM Engineer to demonstrate technical leadership in collaboration and associated technologies.
You will make technical decisions and understand complex low level design documents enough to implement into operational use within a change controlled organisation. You will be participating in 24x7 on-call rota for SCCM technologies and systems to contribute to the leading Europe wide infrastructure supporting project.
Required skills and knowledge
*5 years+ of work experience in a similar background or function
*Experience supporting, installing and configuring Microsoft products
*Experience in Microsoft SCCM 2012
*Experience in Microsoft SCCM 2012 + versions (For Example 1511, 1610, 1702)
*Must can document and hand over day to day support of implementations to 1st and 2nd level support teams
*Experience in Application Virtualisation - Microsoft App-v v4.6 + v5 (or similar technologies)
*Experience in SCCM administration and packaging tasks
*Familiar with Application discovery and reporting
*Familiar with Internal testing of deployed packages
*Management and effective use of SCCM collections
*Management of application catalogues and SCCM Software Centre
*Setting up and supporting SCCM site and role configuration
*Windows Server Management
*Microsoft Active Directory/Group Policy Management
*Incident, Problem and Change management using Remedy (or similar ITIL based tool)
*Career history in supporting a Microsoft Windows distributed environment demonstrating problem determination skills, project work and adherence to IT processes and standards.
*Scripting skills, Eg. Powershell
*Microsoft Windows 7 support skills and appreciation of changes in Windows 10
*Technical leadership skills to manage and collaborate with support teams in all support activities
