We are on the hunt for an M & D Technician to assist in the re-organization of local support resources (logistics, purchasing and accounts) alongside planned 100% increase in installations, mean that the GHM team need help to ensure equipment continues to move in out of the site smoothly and that engineering resources are free to concentrate on installations, customer support and generator health monitoring/reporting.
Responsibilities:
Planned holding of local stock to remove issues with delayed deliveries and missing shipments to site will also require additional support.
The technician will be responsible for sensor manufacture, assembly and deployment of generator health monitoring sensors and systems for the thermal power generation fleet. The role will also include the creation of quotations and stock management in a factory environment.
Job scope will include:
- Support for shipping, packing and testing of equipment, creation of shipping lists and related documentation.
- Creation of tenders, ordering of consumables and sensors, stock management.
