Role: Cyber Security Policy & Accreditation Specialist

CND are looking for a Cyber Security Policy & Accreditation Specialist to work onsite in The Hague to provide advice and guidance on risk assessment and management matters, under the direction of our client's agency staff. The chosen individual will be expected to hold regular meetings with the agency task leads and other key stakeholders within the clients' organisation.

This 4-month contract position is located in The Hague, Netherlands with occasional travel to locations in Brussels and Belgium.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide advice and guidance on risk assessment and management matters

  • Conduct specific security risk assessment; in particular, identify the level of threats and vulnerabilities for all assets comprising CIS to be supported, derive residual risks and provide risk management recommendations;
  • Identify, plan, request and manage development of documents required for accreditation of CIS to be supported (CIS Description, Security Accreditation Plan, Security Risk Assessment Report, Security Requirement Statements, Security Operating Procedures, Security Test and Verification Plan);
  • Build and sustain effective communications with different stakeholders specifically Security Accreditation Boards, Security Accreditation Authorities and Agency organisation units supporting accreditation process;
  • Provide subject matter related briefings and presentations;
  • Represent Project Manager during Security Accreditation Boards' meetings

Essential Skills:

The required skill set is extensive knowledge and experience (totalling more than 5 years) in following areas:

  • Security Accreditation domain related to implementation of major Communication and Information Systems (CIS) acquisition and/or development projects for large organisations;
  • Working knowledge and experience with multiple security risk assessment methodologies;
  • Working experience with PILAR (software tool for security risk assessment)

Candidates must hold valid UK Security Clearance or be able to attain the level of Clearance specified.
