Description
Supporter - Tradefloor Support, first level wanted for our Zurich based client in the consulting sector.Your experience/skills:
- Between 3-8 years of experience working as a Level 2 Supporter in IT within a financial organization as well as know-how in deal capture and real-time position keeping
- Familiarity working with Unix (handling files, searching logs, checking processes) and SQL querying (Oracle / Microsoft SQL)
- Practical knowledge of Windows Server (handling files, searching logs, checking processes) and with release and deployment
- Deep understanding of IT and technology in general along with expertise in entire deal lifecycle for forex exchange, money market, precious metal and derivative products
- Excellent problem-solving skills which must be demonstrated through previous education or career experience
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German knowledge is an asset
Your tasks:
- Monitoring all in-scope applications and all scheduled jobs in environment as well as coordinating deployment changes after approval
- Creating incident, assigning 3rd party / TIS related incidents accordingly to appropriate owners and tracking it to closure with periodic follow-up
- Reviewing and approving resolution of complex / new incidents along with complete data fix, UT, SIT & UAT testing for incidents in need of data fix in dev regions
- Facilitating and supporting complex / urgent / business critical investigation where solution is not identified in first place
