Roc Search's Client is currently recruiting for a Financial Controller/Assistant based in Lancaster on an initial 6 month contract.

A vacancy has arisen within the organisation for a Financial Controller due to maternity cover. The Company are seeking an enthusiastic individual to become part a vibrant team within a Company who has gained recognition as a leading cutting edge technology company.

The role is an interesting and varied one, and you will be responsible for working with our small and friendly team of 20 people.

Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm. We will only require someone onsite for 2-3 days a week or on part time hours.

Skills required:

  • SAGE Accounts software
  • Production of aged debtors and creditor report
  • Production of VAT Intrastat and EC Sales returns
  • Production of regular quarterly management accounts
  • General administration including filing remittances and customer correspondence
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets
  • Sales and purchase ledger

Skills desirable:

  • Payroll
  • Working on EU and UK based projects
  • Training is also offered.
