Senior Engineer - Wintel, Unix, MS Exchange, Jive, Sharepoint
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The internal IT project is providing a single Exchange platform Europe wide which will be installed and maintained by the Collaboration team with support from a supplier. It was also bring further alignment with the other Collaboration tools such as Sharepoint, which is undergoing a large migration project in the UK, and Jive as well as a new European wide MDM - AirWatch.
Summary:
Responsible for managing Exchange, SharePoint, Jive, Servers and Intranet systems. Make technical decisions and understand complex low level design documents enough to implement into operational use within a change controlled organization. Must have the ability to document and hand over day to day support of implementations to 1st and 2nd level support teams.
Key accountabilities:
Demonstrate technical leadership in the area of Exchange, SharePoint, Jive and associated technologies. Make technical decisions and understand complex low level design documents enough to implement into operational use within a change controlled organization. Must have the ability to document and hand over day to day support of implementations to 1st and 2nd level support teams.
Education/Experience:
*Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in IT or other technical studies
*Highly specific skill set or technical training;
*Advanced educational credentials required;
*Prior experience in a similar role (3+ years)
*Netscaler physical devices version 10/11
*Microsoft Exchange installation and administration experience
*Understanding of SharePoint environments and able to administer and manage migration work from previous SharePoint versions
*Ability to create and manage SharePoint sites and understand complex and concise permissions and governance
*Ideally experience and use of Jive to be able to administer, manage and create content sites
*Experience of using an MDM system for on boarding of mobile devices

*General IT skills with WinTel & Unix based applications:
*Microsoft Exchange 2013
*SharePoint 2013
*Jive 8.0 +
*IIS
*MDM (AirWatch ideal but any will be useful)
