Your tasks:
- Responsibility for the software development for exterior lighting electronic modules
- Thoroughly analyse and review the SRD (System Requirements Document)
- Prepare/review the SRS (Software Requirements Specification) documents based on SRD and high-level and detailed level design documents
- Program embedded Renesas RH850 32 bit microcontroller in C
- Conduct code and design reviews with the software team (national/international)
- Meet project delivery milestones (software releases) according to the software timing plan
- Support the software validation team (review of test specifications, issue solving, support test bench preparation)
- Responsibility for following the development quality and V Process
- Assist in the vehicle integration at the customer in Cologne and product benchmarks
- Programming of automated test scripts with different tools for unit and integration tests
Your qualifications
- Profound programming skills in C
- Solid knowledge of microcontroller systems and appropriate development tools
- Intensive experience in embedded software development of automotive control units
- Experience in the implementation and analysis of vehicle CAN-Bus networks and diagnostics
- Basic knowledge of electronic systems and circuits
- Profound English communication skills
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
