Description
We are looking for an IBM Mainframe Consultant to work at our multinational client in The Hague
Expected tasks and deliverables by the Consultants

Working on their own initiative showing creativity and a committed drive to obtain the results required

Implementing system enhancements across the full software development life cycle, from requirements gathering through to post-implementation support

Becoming subject matter experts of assigned applications and mentor other members of the team on technologies and applications
-
Providing CICS Infra-Structure and Application design expertise, and providing software expertise relating to the installation, implementation and debugging of all CICS IBM and CICS related OEM products.
Educational and experience
-
University degree with minimum 6 years hands on experience with IBM Mainframe products
-
Previous CICS development experience
-
Experience with MQSeries, JCL, TSO, SDSF, z/OS Operating System, TCP/IP, REXX.

Experienced with working in large government/public-body organisations;
-
Experienced in multi-national environment;

Specialised in transformation for IT services;

Proven experience in iterative development methods, continuous integration and delivery, test automation and software quality management.

Experience in providing process and product advice.

Strong practical knowledge of industry standard development and integration technologies.

Strong interpersonal skills, including experience with teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.

Ability to influence - and gain the support of - a wide range of stakeholders at different levels in the organisation.

A strong delivery-minded approach.

Experienced in cross-departmental transformation.

Experience with similar projects;

Very good Communication skills, interpersonal skills and analytical skills.

Being active in a multi-cultural environment, the Contractor's staff shall have a very good level of English (oral and written).

The knowledge of German and French will be of added benefit.
