Enterprise Architect - long term Digital programme in Central Government.
You need to be SC cleared or able to undergo clearance to Secret level.
PLEASE NOTE - This is a role that is INSIDE IR35 at a maximum of £675 per day. length is likely to be 1 year and extension likely.
You need
Comprehensive and recent experience designing and implementing high volume digital services and platforms and complex software systems involving a broad range of technologies. This should include the integration of platform, data, service, applications, leading to enterprise application integration.
Proven capability in managing technology implementation projects and in presenting to/working with stakeholders at every level of seniority with good inter-personal skills.
Demonstrable track record of successfully taking an evolutionary architecture approach to software architecture
Focused on strategic alignment of technical design and architecture to meet business growth and direction
Experience of working with Agile projects
Experience of developing product roadmaps, backlogs and measurable success criteria, and of writing user stories, ie can establish a path to delivery for breaking down stories
Experience organising and performing prototyping and proof of concepts
Experience designing and implementing scalable and robust approaches to caching, security and databases (relational and non-relational)
Experience with automated configuration management, deployment and testing solutions including testing of integration interfaces
Experience with designing infrastructure for modern enterprise solutions
Solid understanding of security architecture
Experience with programming languages/frameworks
Experience developing and using web-based APIs (especially REST-based APIs) including outlining a standard approach to Integration between the User Interfaces, APIs and the Digital Services as well as integration to external systems/services.
Substantial experience in the design, development, implementation, and testing of large scale, complex and high volume systems/applications/digital services that involve a wide range of technologies and a significant integration element involving multiple components.
Knowledge of different methods and approaches to getting data to flowing between systems. Understanding data quality and how data quality can impact the final integrated solution.
Strong track record in developing solutions for system interconnection, electronic data interchange, product data exchange and distributed environments. This covers integration of components within the core solution as well as interfaces with external or Legacy systems, including integration of platform, data, service, applications, leading to enterprise application integration.
Experience of service integration design and interface specification management.
