Cyber Security Governance Analyst - Raye TBC - Dubai

An exciting opportunity to work for one of the world's most prestigious and recognised organisations has arisen. We are seeking a Cyber Security Governance Analyst to take ownership and end to end delivery/sustenance of the Cyber Security Governance framework.
Key Responsibilities:
*Managing the Cyber Security Governance function:
*Delivering fit for purpose alignment of our governance framework with industry best practices such as ISO27001
*Ensuring constant updates/maintenance of our security governance framework elements consisting of our policies, standards, procedures and guidelines
*Reviewing exceptions to security policies and standards. Providing fit-for-purpose security solutions to bring a perfect balance of securing assets whilst acting as business enablers
*Reviewing governance artefacts and providing relevant approvals for internal checklists pertaining to systems/applications etc. going into production
*Participating in various projects involving deployment or upgrade of various technologies and applications. Providing appropriate security governance direction by adopting a thought-through risk based approach
*Be adept with thorough knowledge of organizational cybersecurity policies and standards to answer queries from various parts of IT or business
*Work closely with HR, Legal, Group Security teams in maintaining our cybersecurity governance framework and its artefacts
*Performing on-demand risk assessments of various IT projects to assess the security posture of key IT elements within the project, articulate if they pose a security risk to the organisation, and prepare formal risk assessment reports
General/Other Responsibilities:
*Deriving Key Governance Indicators (KGIs) on a monthly basis for various elements/attributes
QUALIFICATIONS
*Minimum 6 years of experience in Information Security and Risk Management functions.
*Experience in IT Audit, Compliance and Assurance reviews is preferred.
*Solid foundation and understanding of industry recognized risk management frameworks such as such as ISO 27001 is a must.
*Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Security strongly preferred.
*Must have a current CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM certification.
*Hands-on Microsoft Office products including use of Excel pivot tables etc. for reporting are absolutely essential.
*Experience communicating with Leadership.
*Strong interpersonal and communicationskills.
