Proteus Europe is searching for a Network Engineer for one of our blue chip multinational clients based in West London.Our Client :-

Your New role :-
Purpose of the role:
Network firewall operation in UK covering Europe, CIS Middle East and Africa.
Our clients network team takes care of the many corporate subsidiaries that is part of this conglomerate and allows them to access the many types of systems which are hosted in the UK and at the Headquarters overseas data centre. The new staff members main responsibilities are to add and change firewall settings as requested, and to analyze any customer problems and to fix these appropriately.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage firewall rule
- Add/change/remove settings on firewall everyday
- Check firewall status using NMS
- Manage assets
- Manage firewall including maintenance at all sites
- Update firewall when new one installed or removed.
- Trouble shooting
- Take a call/mail from customer
- Trouble shoot on firewall and router
- Resolve the problem on the firewall.
- Trouble reporting to customer.
- Performance management.
- NMS DB update
- Manage quality of service on firewall
- Manage utilization and response time
- On site supporting
