Duration: 3-6 months (can be extended)
Technical skills and experience required:
Extensive knowledge of data network technology and solutions in a Cisco infrastructure
Experience with Cisco ACI (Application Centric Integration) technology implementation
Experience in basic Scripting using Python/PERL for invoking simple API calls on APIC controller
Experience in Network Virtualization - virtual switching, any 2 VNFs - virtual Firewalls, Routers etc.
Experience with data center technology planning, design, and support
Experience with Cisco ASA Firewalls, Cisco Firepower
Should have experience of DC Migration and Consolidation
Knowledge of routing and switching concepts and technology
Experience with BGP, OSPF, IGMP, PIM and RSTP/MSTP, MPBGP, MPLS, VPLS or BGP/MPLS IPVPN
Programming experience with Perl and Python will be added advantages
Experience with F5 LTM/Citrix Netscaler
Design, deploy and support Data Center Networks utilizing industry best practices and Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure and Nexus 9k platforms
Contribute to the development and performance of a migration plan from traditional data center network designs to Cisco ACI
Integrate services appliances to Cisco ACI deployments to include Application Delivery Controllers and Firewalls
Design ACI Policy infrastructure consisting Endpoint Group (EPG's), BD (Bridge Domain), VRF's
Experience with UCS Director - atomics and orchestration workflows, service requests etc.
Good understanding of VMware environments - VSphere - creating/deleting VMs, Port-groups, VDS etc.
