Unix Team Leader
The Company
ConSol Partners' client are a Global Public Services organisation based in Luxembourg that are urgently looking for a Unix team leader/manager to join their team on an initial 6-12 month contract which is due to start ASAP.
The Role
As the Unix Team leader you will be in charge of leading a team of up to 12 members. The successful candidate will be organising and contributing to the delivery of the operational support, drive the day to day activities according to business priorities and maintain and ensure that the infrastructure is up to date and compliant with the security policy. The role is more leadership focused than technical so a real focus around management and leadership is expected for this job.
The Individual
The successful Unix Team Leader should have experience with the following:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in leadership/Unix environments
- Good knowledge in monitoring tools: Nimsoft | Omnivision | Zabbix
- Infrastructure management tools
- Strong leadership traits
Desirable
- Knowledge in Orchestration tool: Ansible | Puppet
- Experience in software associated tech (Apache, Tomcat etc)
- RedHat Certification
