Employee Relations Partner - Financial Services Company - LondonMy client, a leading provider of credit card payment platforms, is seeking an Employee Relations (ER) Advisor to provide specialist support and consultation across their European business on an initial 3 month contract, starting immediately.
KEY WORK OUTPUTS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Manage high risk, formal and complex European ER cases
- Partner with HRBPs
- Work in conjunction with the Employment Lawyer on litigation
- Manage and advise on high profile ER projects, including restructures, reorganisations, individual and collective consultations, TUPE
- Provide expert advice, interpretation and guidance on European employment matters and HR policies, practices and processes
- Accountable for ensuring legislative changes are reflected in Visa Europe's policies and procedures
- Act as an escalation point for more junior team members
- Coach line managers on employee relations approach to drive a pro-active ER agenda
- Maintains understanding of European employment law and engages legal advisors as necessary to ensure Visa Europe fulfils its legal obligations
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- Significant HR and employee relations experience in a commercial environment (must include employee relations; facilitation, re-organisations)
- Educated to degree level
- Holds relevant HR professional qualifications (ie CIPD)
- Great attention to detail and genuine interest in employment law
- Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to deal with personal and sensitive issues
- Ability to work independently and proven senior stakeholder management experience
