A global Renewable Energy client is looking for a Consultant to work as an Electrical TP Supervisor. We are looking for a Supervisor to supervise electrical parts for the foundation onshore construction works at the foundation supplier. This is a 10 month offshore freelance role, expected to start 19th September 2017 up unto the 29th June 2018 with the possibility of extending further thereafter. This will be for 5 days a week, 8 hrs. In average.Job Description:
Visual Inspection:
- Final inspection of the electrical installation prior to hand over.
- Prepare and fill out the inspection checklist.
- Prepare and fulfil a list of To Do in connection with the final inspection.
- Follow up on the To Do issues.
- Control of the electrical QA control plans performed by contractors.
- Supervision of documentation delivered together with equipment's.
- Control of documents such as:
- CE declaration
- Test certificates
- User/Installation manual or notes
- Delivery note
- Packing list if applicable in storage safely after the installation
- Cable ladders for LV and HV installations (up to 36kV).
- LV equipment (lightening, sockets, sensor equipment)
- Davit crane installations
- Earthling installation
- 36kV Switchgear units
- LV connection units, distribution boxes
- Ensure planning, implementation and documentation of the electrical part of the foundation supply.
- Comply with the client guidelines and standards in work, QUBE and synergy requirements.
- To agree scope of work and responsibilities within the project.
- Supervision of TP electrical installation work and tests carried out by suppliers.
- Incoming inspection and hand-over of goods related to the clients free issued items.
- To follow up on progress in a timely manner so that any challenges can be tackled in time.
- Take part in site meetings.
- Ensure QC of electrical part of the foundation supply before handover by use of checklists and signed hand over protocols.
- To contribute to control snagging list for the electrical parts of the foundation supply.
- Collect as built - test - handover - and QA documentation related to scope.
- Weekly follow-up interface towards design, installation, transportation.
- Weekly reporting progress issues, status.
- To ensure quick solution to and decision on fabrication or communications problems.
- Take proactive actions to reduce safety risks.
- Ensure that work is made in accordance with specifications and standards in the contract.
- Prepare weekly progress reports and sign off as QA prepare.
- BSc or AP Graduate in Service Engineering.
- 2 -3 years. experience in supervision of electrical solutions for offshore use.
- 2 - 3 years. experience from similar position.
- Working at heights GWO training.
The Consultants will be required to bring his/her own PC with MS Office 2007 software or newer and mobile telephone.
The Consultants must have his/her own PPE equipment (Personal Protection Equipment)
