Web Application Engineer (WebLogic/JBoss/Tomcat) - Antwerp, Belgium
Languages: ENGLISH with FRENCH and/or DUTCH (bilingual)
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science OR equivalent through experience.
- 5+ years of experience in IT environment
- 2+ years of experience in the JEE domain
- Additional certification is a plus
- Knowledge and/or experience of:
- Web Application Server (WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat)
- Apache Web Server
- Linux and Windows Server OS
- Web services concepts (SOAP, REST)
- Security concepts (SSL, Certificates)
- Networking concepts (eg LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, Loadbalancing, Firewalls)
- Scripting (Perl, Python, Shell)
- Knowledge of the following knowledge is an asset:
- CA API Management
- F5-ASM Web Application Firewall
- Nagios (OpsView), HP BSM, Dynatrace or equivalent
- MS IIS/MS SharePoint
- Sitecore
- JEE/JMS development
- IBM MQ Series
- Kibana/Elastic
- MongoDB
- Jenkins
- Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
- Ability to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines
- Ability to work in an ITIL model based organization
