Our client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for a Senior Modeling Expert for 5G Core Network Architecture to join their business in Sweden.

Position Type: Contract

Responsibilities:
- Research in the area of next generation packet core network architecture.
- Developing patents from research work.
- Utilizing model-driven technology to research MDA solution for 5G network O&M system.
- Setting up good relationships with key players in the industry, identifying key requirements for 5G industry core networks.
- Participating in technical planning work, providing proposals for technical investments, candidates for research projects, and ensure that core network product line keeping leading position in the industry.
- Understanding 5G system architecture and 5G scenarios, supporting standards organizations and promoting company’s vision in the industry.
- Ability to identify new trends and requirements related to the 5G industry and providing recommendations to management level.

Qualifications:
- 10+ years successful experience in R&D in telecommunications industry, with strong architecture design experience (strong NFV experience is a plus).
- Master’s or higher degree (preferred) in Telecommunications or Computer Science.
- Experience in Model Driven Architecture (MDA) approach to design an efficient system. Experience from system architecture design of telecom network element products is a plus.
- Good understanding in MDA related modeling language such as UML, YAML, YANG, etc.
- Good understanding of emerging telecom technologies such as NFV, Network Slicing, MANO, Cloud, etc.
- Extensive and profound knowledge of core networks and wireless communication system.
- Excellent technical judgment and understanding of the emerging technical trends and ideas in the industry.
- Strong interpersonal communication and team work skills and great passion in business and relationship developing.
- Can travel all over the world for standards organization activities and workshop with customers and other work on demand.
- Able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
