Proteus Europe is searching for a CAD Support and Layout Engineer to join a prestigious client located in Antwerp, Belgium. This is a permanent position.Our Client :-

Your New role :-
As a member of our image sensor design team, your will support, maintain and enhance design, layout and simulations flows for analog/mixed-signal circuit design. You will also support the design team with layout work at block and top-level.
You will be interfacing to the CAD team in Premstaetten and 3rd party EDA tool vendors, to develop, validate and bring up the custom Cadence flows needed for the AMS image sensor design flow.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first line CAD technical support for the Candence Virtuoso tool set and the Mentor Calibre toolset
- Provide full support for custom Cadence flows, including tool development, installation and maintenance.
- Mixed Signal Layout
- Proactive thinking on improvements in the image sensor layout and design flow
Essential Skills :-
- BS in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of industrial experience with CAD tools and flows
- Cadence and Mentor for layout and layout verification.
- Good programming skills in languages like SKILL, Ocean, Perl, Python, TCL, Shell
- Experience with SVN and/or DesignSync is a plus
- Knowlegde of PDK installations
- IC Layout experience using Cadence Virtuoso Toolset and Mentor Calibre
- Understand layout constraints including layout matching techniques and signal conditioning/protection techniques
- Proficiency in floor planning activities with block assembly and block level routing
- LVS/DRC trouble shooting and debug skills
- Top-level IC layout experience and tapeout experience is a plus
- Candidate should be a team player with good written and verbal communication skills.
