Job Title: Kafka Administrator
Duration: 12 months
Job Type: Daily rate contract
Location: Dublin City Centre
The Business: FinTech
The end client has undergone a large amount of change over the past 24 months and have a number of major projects underway. One of them is that they are looking to bring their Kafka platform from early life to stable maturity.
What you'll be doing:
- installation, building, backup, upgrades etc. of confluent Kafka cluster
- cluster includes SSL for encryption and authentication, SASL for authentication, authorisation and migration to a secure cluster
- interaction with customers to gather and analyse the technical requirements for existing production environment.
What you will need:
- strong understanding of Kafka as a stand alone or in conjunction with BigData or No SQL
- experience in Kafka cluster setup and cluster upgrade activity environment
- good hands-on experience on Kafka enterprise operations
