We are looking for experienced technologist with skills and knowledge to:
- Manage 3PAR environment, provision storage, export virtual volumes to Hyper-V, VMware and VMS Servers. Monitor and tune performance of 3PAR
- Manage a complex clustered SQL environment with many instances and hundreds of databases, including critical applications.
- Examine issues and tune database performance in SQL 2012, 2014 and 2016.
- Migrate application databases between clusters, and versions of SQL whilst minimising effects on services
- Manage the storage usage and allocation on SQL clusters.
- Working with suppliers to setup, maintain, and tune SQL databases.
- Manage primary and secondary DPM Servers protecting data and over 500 Servers
- Carrying out restores in DPM. Configuring backups, carrying out one-off backups in DPM and SQL.
- Diagnosing and correcting DPM errors and performance issues.
Skills in Active Directory 2012 R2; Group Policy; Exchange; Windows Server R2; Hyper-V; VMWare; Windows File Server; Hardware (Maintenance of Data Centre Equipment such as Servers, disks, UPS, Air-conditioning, Generators) would be advantageous.
Expenses shall not be paid and it is unlikely that remote working will be an option.
