Cyber SOC Architect, Cyber Security, SOC, SOC Deployment, SIEM, Design, Solution, Delivery, International Travel
Cyber SOC Architect required for one of our key clients for an initial 6 month contract. International travel will be required as 80% of the work will be based in Jordan and 20% in Gloucester, UK. We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Cyber SOC Architect with excellent technical and client-facing skills to manage technical deliveries of our client's Cyber Security solutions.

Cyber SOC Architect Responsibilities:
- Implementing technical solutions with end clients within our client's International Services & Solutions division.
- Engage with the customer to understand their requirements and design Cyber solutions to meet their needs. Install, configure and integrate the solution with client systems (building client-specific extensions as required), before testing to assure the quality of the deliverable and handing-over to the customer.
- Help build our client's delivery capability by documenting the delivery process, feeding back lessons learned and establishing best practices and repeatable processes. Requirements that you have captured will be continually fed back to product management teams to steer the product roadmap.
- Working with sales executives, technical project managers, engineers, solution architects, as well as the end-customer. Given the international client delivery focus of this role, flexibility is essential to ensure timely delivery to the customer's satisfaction.
- Develop an in-depth technical understanding of the Cyber Security product suite and build excellent relationships with customers, so they see you as a SME and their primary point-of-contact for technical matters.
Cyber SOC Architect Skills and Experience:
- Operational experience in a SOC environment and Cyber Security domain experience
- Experience with deployment of J2EE applications
- Strong time management and organisational skills to independently manage multiple delivery projects concurrently
- Detail-oriented approach
- Linux System/Network Administration
- Cent OS/Red Hat or Ubuntu
- Apache Hadoop (or other Big Data platforms) and the wider Hadoop ecosystem including; Accumulo, Flume, Kafka, Oozie, Hive and Zookeeper.
- Awareness of Cyber Security Monitoring product landscape
- Java development (or software development in general) desirable
- Infrastructure administration (server hardware and networking installation/configuration)
- VMware (or other virtualisation platforms desirable
