SENIOR TEST LEAD (INFRASTRUCTURE)
We are looking for a Senior Test Analyst who can work on the network & connectivity/infrastructure ops types of projects and can oversee all major and significant changes to the infrastructure at one of our London based client sites. Currently the infrastructure team do their own test plans, which are often one liners and they need someone to watch over this and make sure it's all done correctly. Changes could be infrastructure/network/Servers - eg port changes, Exchange migrations etc.
Summary of the role:
- Hands on testing expertise and experience
- 5/5 communication skills, team leading and dealing with other departments and in particular technical teams.
- Review test plans and work with the Ops team to improve them
- Be capable of understanding technical elements of infrastructure and be capable of asking the right questions
- Develop relationships with the Ops team - needs to be able to challenge them when things are not quite right
- Be involved in Disaster Recovery planning, challenge test plans produced by the Ops team
- There will be other hands on activities during the remainder, likely to be project based testing activities, possibly co-ordinating projects.
