Description
We have partnered with a household name within the telco industry who have the need for a Solution Architect to join their Wireless division.
This role forms part of the Wireless Architecture team which is accountable for the technical Architecture (Active and Passive components) and work practices for the network.
This will be an initial 6 month contract with opportunity for extending.
Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Contribute to the development of quantifiable and traceable architecture frameworks (RAN and Transport) through proper teaming processes and a quality approach;
Contribute to the development of the detailed end-to-end Architecture and Technology Roadmaps for the Fixed Wireless network;
Provide recommendations and guidance with regard to the technical direction, technical governance and strategy of the Wireless Technology Domain - Network, Assurance Systems & Infrastructure;
Define the Technical and Engineering requirements for the 3rd party deliverables and manage relationships with 3rd party peers.
Manage the full life cycle of all specialist technology architecture plans underpinning the development and life cycle investment program and projects;
Ensure the service quality of wholesale layer 2 wireless products across the Radio Access Network (RAN) and Wireless Transport Network produces a predictable and consistent customer experience and meets the service description.
Ensure product plans, solutions plans and solution definitions are technically feasible and follow the full life cycle of the architecture plans;
Contribute to the development of network/systems resiliency frameworks and ensure architecture includes cost effective resiliency features;
Develop plans for the network aspects of the trials of active network components.
Analyses and solves poorly defined complex problems which may require multiple parties to resolve
Negotiates solutions and resolves conflicts.
