IT Security Specialist/IT Security Consultant - Belgium - Long Term Contract
My high profile client is looking for an IT Security Consultant/Specialist to come on-board and take over the duties of an external resource who is currently on-site.
Rate: €63.50/hour (negotiable)
Duration: 6 months (extendable)
Job Description:
Risk management and security analysis of the IT environment.
The definition of 'policies' for users and IT technical services based on a general security strategy.
Implementation and follow-up of these policies through the preparation and development of software and hardware technical solutions and the technical management and tuning of these solutions.
Can execute penetration tests on a variety of systems and report extensively on the results and solutions to address problems.
Regular assessment of the state of computer and telecommunication systems in the context of protection against threats (viruses, attacks by hackers, etc.).
Formulate proposals and implement new solutions to be able to detect and respond to new threats.
Effective intervention in crisis situations (organized attacks, intrusions into the network, detection of viruses, ...) and to plan scenarios to react effectively in these situations.
Provide technical solutions to secure connections to external partners, Intranet and the Internet.
Specific knowledge:
Knowledge of standards and standards to define, implement, implement, monitor, evaluate, maintain and improve documented security management (ISO 27001, ...).
Looking for someone specifically:
Certified in GIAC/CISSP/OSCP/SANS (preferably one or more)
Preferably bilingual (French, Dutch) or, alternatively, have sufficient basic knowledge of a second national language to participate without difficulty in meetings with other specialists and with representatives of users.
