Description
For our customer we are looking for a senior engineer, telecommunications.
We are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious and hardworking candidate to strengthen our Client's Telecom project team. The candidate must be must be able to independently perform Telecom design engineering tasks given by the project specification. The right candidate is graduated engineer and has minimum 10 years of experience within Telecom area in the marine and offshore industry.
Competence:
Bachelor or similar
Solid experience on Telecom systems within marine and offshore industry is a requirement
Relevant practical system experience
International experience
Good presentation in verbal and written English. Scandinavian language skills are an advantage
IT skills: AutoCAD, Microsoft and preferably Proarc
Good knowledge of rules and regulations based on IMO, MODU and DNV requirements
Work description:
Design and prepare documentation of telecom system packages during Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC)
Follow up sub suppliers, factories and deliveries to sites
Preparing guidelines and specifications for telecom systems within offshore and also general maritime vessels
Participating in the tender process creating tender specifications and CTRs
Create RFQs and perform technical bid evaluation
Testing and commissioning
