In many ways, the most interesting of the "cloud" jobs, the consultant position requires the candidate to perform a variety of technical studies and evaluations for their own company and for its clients. Formalized cloud based recommendations are then made to the IT management for further consideration. During the first stages, strong technical skills are necessary while superior verbal and written communication skills are necessary for the second. The job is quite demanding on a personal level as one has to juggle the competing demands of the techies in IT, the bosses in upper management and the most important players, the clients
As a consultant, you will be in charge of the following tasks around in our Cloud competence center:
Creating Low level Designs
Installation, integration, migration, optimization of different virtualization and cloud projects
Analyze and audit existing client architectures in order to define action plans
Assisting Presales architect to make High Level Designs
Present and defend the solutions
Technical coaching towards customers (planning activities, communication with customers and internal colleagues)
Possibly Technical Project management
Work on one big or several small/medium customer projects simultaneously

Bachelor or Master in IT or equivalent by experience
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with cloud Design, Implementation, Consultancy and migration.
Experience mandatory with the complete datacenter virtualization from VMware including latest versions. (ESX, vcenter, NSX, vsan, vcf, srm). Certification requested.
Experience with the complete vrealize suite from vmware including latest versions. (vrealize operation, automation, business, air). Certification is a plus
Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V + system center + azure. Certification is a plus
Experience with AWS
Experience with Openstack
Experience with migration to a public cloud (amazon, google, ...)
Experience with migration of in house applications to a cloud platform
Able to build private, public and hybrid clouds
Convincing customers on the security aspects of the cloud
Experience with making designs (High Level and Low level) and writing/documenting.
Good understanding of Networking and Telecom
Experience in leading and being operationally responsible for projects, from design to implementation
