Description
My client, operating within the finance indusstry is looking for a Senior Security Specialist.
Job Scope:
- Managing the information security incident to ensure the prevention, detection, containment and correction of security breaches
- Participating in resolving problems with security violations
- Ensuring compliance function by identifying the regulatory evolutions, obligations affecting DXC and at defining the required adaptations.
- Coordinating external penetration tests with the account and external security counterparts
- Monitoring virus incidents, and respond to virus outbreaks, IDS alerts
- Responding to security alerts raised by SOC - investigate and respond to any misuse.
- Perform analysis activities, including forensic analysis of system resource access logs on various
security devices and products
- Support vulnerability analysis and evaluation of security impacts & threats of configuration changes
- Provide technical subject matter experts' input into the process for incident response and investigation for information security incidents,
- Proactively identify control gaps and remediation efforts to further strengthen Group's risk posture
- Document security related processes, procedures and materialized security controls.
- Provide Support on internal audits on information security processes, controls and systems.
- Communicating with executive management and Security Account Managers to ensure Client support for the information security program
- Overseeing and conducting risk management activities (risk assessment, gap analysis, business impact analysis, etc.) to help reaching an acceptable level of risk.
Has strong knowledge on:
- Windows, Unix, and security critical network components (Firewalls, IDS, Routers, proxies etc )
- Knowledge on security software Qualys, Skybox, CyberArk, RSA is an asset
- Certified on ITIL and security frameworks (ISO/IEC 27001, 27005, PCI DSS, CCNA, CSA)
