Eipc Ops Data Base Administrator
1,040.00 hours. 100% on site, epic cache database on Unix/AIX platforms, epic cache certified.
Epic Cache Certified! The Epic Operational Database Administrator is primarily responsible for maintenance and support of the Epic Cache databases on UNIX/AIX platform for both production and non-production environments. They will monitor, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade the Epic Cache databases. This individual will provide support for ongoing Epic EMR implementation projects, providing technical and design expertise including testing and Implementation.
This position requires 24 x 7 on-call rotational support.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Strong business Subject Matter Expert knowledge in the HealthCare market.
Epic Cache certification is required
At least 5 years' experience of related work experience in database management and administration, which includes and not limited to management, tuning, capacity planning and configuration.
At least 5 years' experience of database administration on a UNIX and/or AIX operating system.
Maintain and configure Epic scripts and monitoring utilities.
Maintain Cache configuration per Epics recommendations.
Install and upgrade Cache on a server.
Create programmer and administrative access to Epic environments.
Create additional environments for testing and/or training as needed.
Create logins for different types of access.
Maintain Cache level security.
Configure Epic environments using Epic configuration utilities.
