My client based in Reading is looking for a security cleared BW Developer with the following skills:-
- Three years plus experience of managing business information requirements to deliver effective warehousing functionality to enhance operational performance and reporting using SAP BW.
- Track record of developing and managing the delivery of SAP BW solutions under tight business deadlines
- Data modelling and Data architecture skills using SAP BW tools
- Bachelor's Degree in an Information Systems Field or preferably 3 years plus experience designing and/or delivering solutions.
- Expertise in SAP Business Warehouse (BW) Datamodelling, SAP Data Extraction process, SAP Process Chains, and SAP Business Explorer (BEx).
- Experienced in data modelling (physical and logical), profiling, enterprise data architecting, data quality and data governance
- SAP BW server architecture, data governance and end-end implementation experience
- Experience to write scripts and complex SQL statements
- Experience in performance tuning of SAP BW solutions.
- Ability to work as part of a team and offer solutions/support to colleagues
- Good communication skills - to document and review SAP BW designs in a manner that Developers and Analysts can understand
- Ability to relate feedback to both the technical side of the team and also a range of external/internal stakeholders
- Ensure any costs incurred are for an agreed project or an existing budgeted SLA.
- Evidence of working in a challenging and complex organisation and demonstrable experience of contributing to business and technical change.
- Good experience of understanding and capturing business requirements, specification writing and delivery of technical solutions to an agreed standard.
- Experience delivering solutions to an agreed standard using industry standard methodologies.
- Proven experience working in a small team delivering technical solutions to business requirements.
- Ability to deal with and manage conflict whilst building successful business relationships across a range of stakeholder groups.
- SAP BW certifications (highly desirable)
- SAP BOBJ report design, development experience is nice to have
- Experience of one or more SAP full life cycle implementations using SAP BW
- Experience, of building data cubes or queries that can be reused across multiple reports or used by the business to self generate reports.
- Informations systems related Degree.
- ITIL Foundation.
