One of our customers based in Stockholm is currently looking for an English speaking QA (Quality Assurance) Engineer to join their team in October for an initial 9 months contract until June 2018.
Tasks:
As a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer you will work in a multi-disciplinary team .The team includes, but is not limited to, solution architecture, development of Front End apps, deployment, support and maintenance. As a QA you will play an important role in ensuring the quality in all phases of product development. You will provide input and support to our product team regarding the production roadmap, functionality, quality and so on. The role also includes the ability to see and understand the customer perspective. You will work with a global perspective; both with a short term (operative) and long term focus in order to secure that the tv service will keep its competitive edge.
Requirements:
Required experience (>2years)
- manual and exploratory testing in complex testing environments
- Continuous Integration (CI)
Basic knowledge
- setting up and maintaining test frameworks in Linux
- Scripting on Linux and networks
- automated testing
- agile, Test Driven Development (TDD)
A plus
- Set-Top-Box (STB)
- Javascript, NodeJS, Jenkins, wireshark
- video streaming
