Description
Currently have a 6 month requirement for an experienced Voice Engineer to join our customers Core Network Team.
The experienced Voice Engineer will have direct responsibility for day-to-day operational management of the Voice platform. A Key part of this role will be to drive improvements in how efficiently voice faults are managed and identify & drive resolution of underlying issues common to faults reported into the team.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational and translations support on the DMS and Soft Switch Voice platforms.
- Own and drive the resolution of customer voice issues across the Voice platform and support testing with customers and operators as needed.
- Configure and test new customer circuits/interconnects in line with Siebel SLAs or customer agreed timeframe.
- Configure and maintain the translation tables on the soft switch platform and maintain the LCR tables.
- Complete customer/operator porting requests in the required window and customer turn ups as scheduled on voice platforms.
- Support billing and fraud queries on the network.
- Be the primary contact for vendor/suppliers in dealing with issues on the platform.
- Working closely with both teams across the Business to support customer requirements.
