One of our blue chip clients is urgently looking for a Data Management/Data Migration Consultant.
Duration: 7-10 months
Consultant position description:
Verify and enhance data received from sites. Data will be delivered in a standardized Excel template.
Migrate data from Excel file to OPPM using a custom tool/process. (MS Excel and Access)
Ensure and keep track of data QA/test activities
Report status on data migration and data testing
MS Access and Excel skills
Experience with data migration
Reports to team lead
Job description:
PPM for Production' is wave two of the ongoing project Project Portfolio Management (PPM) solution implementation', delivering Oracle's OPPM solution to the Production segment.
My client's Production is lacking a tool to manage its project portfolios, and the related processes are not harmonized across my client's Production.
The project has following objectives:
Design and implement a common portfolio and project management system for the Production segment
Harmonize the PPM processes in Production
In H2 2016 and H1 2017 the project has captured requirements, designed, built and tested the solution for Production, as well as rolled out to one pilot site in Finland.
During the next phase the project will plan and execute rollout to the remaining 25 production sites worldwide. Rollout is expected to start January 2018 and complete Q.
Key activities in this phase of the project are:
Align rollout schedule to the sites' already busy project schedules
Acquire data about the sites' projects and project portfolios
Acquire user lists and roles from the sites
Communicate to and train end users
Execute cut-over activities
The purpose of this request is to onboard a dedicated team of resources that can run the rollout based on a defined method.
Description of Mandatory Fields:
This is not a database role, but a role requiring analytic skills and ability to keep track of large data sets and progress on collecting and migrating these. It is therefore not required to be a DB expert. It is required that the candidate knows Access well (1-3 years of experience, or experience with other that is relevant/overlapping).
