Description

Position: Sr. Oracle EBS Applications DBA (Oracle Identity Management)
Location: Atlanta, GA
Position Type: Contract (potential for extension or perm)

Position Details:
Manage, sustain, and monitor the availability, performance and security of Oracle EBS systems including all services and components for the Oracle core, EBS core and EBS customizations.
Install, configure, upgrade and patch the Oracle core, EBS core, and any other component related to Oracle EBS systems.
Install, configure, upgrade and patch Oracle Discoverer instances.
Install, configure, upgrade and patch Oracle Identity Management (OIM) and Access Manager (OAM) instances.
Integrate OIM and OAM with Oracle EBS and Discoverer applications.
Provide all installation, configuration, upgrade and patching support on Solaris, Linux and Windows platforms.
Manage, allocate, monitor and plan both future and existing resources and requirements for Oracle EBS, Discoverer and Identity Management systems.
Create and modify primary database objects to support application development and customization activities.
Installation of Oracle EBS customization release artifacts from Oracle developers.
Manage and monitor the Oracle EBS, Discoverer, OIM and OAM security including user accounts, user access and user access management.
Monitor, optimize and tune overall system performance and troubleshoot/resolve any issues impacting system performance.
Plan, manage, and monitor system and database backup and recovery for all systems. Execute system and database recoveries as required.
Perform switchover and failback activities between primary and disaster recovery sites.
Plan, manage, monitor, and test high availability features including Oracle Dataguard.
Ensure system is in full compliance with all Oracle licensing requirements and limits.
Ensure system is in full compliance with Oracle compatibility matrixes.
Vigilance to ensure system is in full compliance with CDC and US Government mandated security regulations, directives and standards.
Provide timely support and response to the troubleshooting, resolution and prevention of system identified issues.
When possible, proactively identify any issues and take preventive actions prior to corrective actions being necessary.
Primary point of contact for Oracle Technical Support.
Provide support to system administrators, developers, users, and owners as requested to promote the overall health, usability and success of systems.
Provide Oracle DBA expertise to new systems and technical initiatives as tasked by the PM.

Required Skills
Willingness to submit to and ability to pass background investigation leading to obtaining and maintaining a US Government Public Trust Level 5 clearance.
For any new employees hired to this task order, the ability to pass a CDC mandated oral and written English language proficiency certification (See section 3.4)
At least 10 (10) years of experience with Oracle EBS database administration in Linux and Solaris environments.
At least ten (10) years of in an ERP environments.
At least three (3) years of experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
At least two (2) years of experience with Oracle Identity Management Suite.
