This a great opportunity to join one the highest ranking programmes within our client. Our client are looking for a rounded Solution Architect with experience in working with Identity Access Management (IAM). 3 month rolling Contract based in the West Midlands.
System Security and Architecture
- Actively investigate the latest security advisories and incidents. Interpret security event activity, identify security vulnerabilities and initiate a coordinated response plan where needed Coordinate and champion the security risk and exception processes for the programme
- Review, assess and contextualize security vulnerabilities, provide practical advice and solution designs that deliver short term mitigations and address underlying root-causes
- Propose solutions that resolve vulnerabilities but are equally commercially aware, practical to implement and minimise disruption to a congested programme delivery plan
- Own the resolution of security incidents with internal and third party suppliers
- Provide Security consultancy' to the programme to increase security awareness and embed appropriate controls within the programme
- Collaborate with the central IT security team, third party vendors and team to implement and assure against the relevant security policies and procedures, including regulatory and legal requirements.
- Act as a gatekeeper/subject matter expert for the use of information and IT assets, responding to security requests in line with policies and standards.
- Manage the IT security aspects of the disclosure of sensitive information to third parties
- Participate and co-operate in internal and external security audits as required
- Determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; research information security standards; conduct system security and vulnerability analysis and risk assessments; study architecture/platform; identify integration issues; prepare cost estimates for remediation.
Knowledge, Experience and Accountabilities
- Strong experience of Identify and Access Management solutions
- Experience of an IAM transformation project
- Acknowledged expert in IT security threats and mitigation strategies
- Proven ability to align security and business objectives to deliver risk based solutions
- Proven experience in undertaking security risk assessments in a large and complex environment (both server and thick client security)
- Proven ability to translate penetration test reports tabulate remediation actions
- A very strong understanding of application architecture relating to access and control design
- Able to leverage expertise and technical best practices to optimize solution performance
- Demonstrable understanding of information security, control principles and technology
- Experience of working within a quality, compliance and security management framework
- Strong operational experience across large scale, complex organizations .
- An ability to work effectively in a Matrix organization is essential
- Aligned and compliant to the security team from Policies, Standards and procedures
