Description
We are seeking an IMS solution Architect who will be part of the communications platforms & apps team
The main focus will be the Architecture and Design a global fixed line voice service.
One of the main projects and the project this candidate will be working on is the Pan-European IMS Project.
Day to Day accountabilities:
Day to Day support of the newly live production IMS network from a Architecture and Design perspective- involving troubleshooting, being creative with solutions to problems that require some minor re-design, testing existing production scenarios in the lab to find root cause and develop solutions. Ability to think on your feet.
Integration and Design testing of new countries being brought live on our IMS platform- Defining and building the lab test environment to prove designed solutions, test plan, test execution and test results/output.
Required skills & Knowledge
- Deep knowledge of Fixed TDM and VoIP related Architecture with hands on practical experience
- Strong understanding of general IT systems with hands on experience
- Ability to take on and process complex business and technical requirement and produce cost effective and timely innovative designs.
- Ability to author HLA and HLD documents
- Be the "person to go to" in the Architecture and Design team for engineering and production/operations issues
- Ability to quickly and effectively test in the lab proposed solutions
