SAP Basis Expert
SAP Basis Expert required by my client for a 6 month project near to Brussels. You will be working with Finance Processes and interfaces in the Legacy System, your main focus will be to define the strategy for versioning and changes to the SAP Basis environment.
Responsibilities:
Technical Upgrade Management
- Define the strategy for versioning and changes to the SAP Basis environment: upgrade paths, enhancement packs, support packs, hot fixes and OSS notes
- Hands-on execution in the support organization between teams, resolving issues and communication
SAP Basis Configuration & Administration
- Client Server architecture and configuration: Presentation Server/Layer/Tier, Application Server, Database Layer
- Perform SAP client administration (create client, copy client, delete client, export/import client)
- Perform all backup operations for SAP systems
- Configure and manage the SAP printing subsystem
- SAP GUI configuration
SAP Performance Management
- Performance management of SAP transactions
- Setup alerting thresholds
- Define performance and monitoring KPIs and reporting
- Define and implement improvement actions
Required skills:
- Master or bachelor in Information Technology or related
- 7+ years of experience
- 3-5 years of experience in SAP BC with good knowledge of different operating systems and databases
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a very big plus
- Fluent Dutch & English
- Very good knowledge of general SAP integration of components

Rate: €650
Location: Brussels Area
