Data Scientist
We are a mobile telecommunications and network vendor with a global customer base & well established and innovative services. The new hire will hold a key position in the Data analytics team. As a Data Scientist you will be working alongside the Senior Data Scientist and exploring Big Data opportunities. You are also going to work with stakeholders in order to create hypotheses and help the creating of models that answer important business questions
Role involves:
- Turning datasets into strong capabilities and strategy insight
- Identifying new trends in order to drive the innovation across OpCo
- Being an expert in Big Data Analytics & being able to advise on the competitiveness of Big Data solutions
- Advising on best methodology for Big Data Analytics
- Supporting data scientists across the company
You will have:
- Proven experience in Big Data analytics & knowledge of trends in technology (eg NoSQL, Pig, Cassandra, HDFS)
- Ability test hypotheses from obtained data and present meaningful conclusions
- Statistic modelling expertise
- Good communication skills & ability to work alongside different teams
- Knowledge in Big Data analytics tools
- Innovation approach
- Skills to build machine learning models
