Description
Capita are currently looking for SC cleared Electrical Commissioning Technicians to work on MoD sites. The role is paying market rates with expenses paid for any travel involved.
Scope is to Electrically Test the identified cabinets in accordance with Guidance Note 3 Inspection and Testing - IET Wiring Regulations BS 7671: 2008, incorporating Amdt 3: 2015.
Should hold:
City & Guilds 2382.IEE Wiring regulations (BSth Edition.
(Essential for installing new and altering existing, electrical installations)
City & Guilds 2391.Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations. (to be replaced with C&G 2394 & 2395).(Essential for all electrical testing and inspections)
City & Guilds 2392* Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations.
(Either the 2391 OR the is acceptable. The is only suitable for self-certifying works. It is NOT suitable for Periodic Testing)
This is an immediate contract opportunity with extensions likely.Ideally a proven time served electrician with 17th or 18th edition as a minimum and would ideally have the 2391 test and Inspection qualification
