Service Desk Analyst - 1st line - Contract - Bedfordshire

Square One are recruiting for Service Desk Analysts to work for one of our clients in Bedfordshire on a contract basis. We are looking for someone with a high level of customer service and previous experience on a service desk.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for a high standard of customer service in-line with performance targets
  • Shift work will be required, working 7am-3:30pm, 8am-4:30pm, 9:30am-6pm
  • To receive and accurately log IT Service issues and requests from users

Essential skills:

  • Excellent customer service
  • Supporting Windows desktop operating systems
  • Experience with Office 365
  • Administration of Microsoft Active Directory
  • Supporting and using Microsoft desktop applications such as Office and Outlook etc.
  • Experience of working to agreed timescales and targets
  • Experience of prioritising customer requests and invoking escalation processes
  • Experience of designing and documenting processes and procedures

Desirable skills

  • Understanding of ITIL guidelines
