Role Purpose:
Responsibility for the design, development and delivery of vehicle based tests to robustly validate the feature(s) within the area of responsibility
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the System and Sub-System Engineers to understand the feature, system and software requirements and review these requirements for testability.
- Responsible for creating the Test Cases, methods and Scripts (automated and manual) from the system and software requirements and for gaining concurrence from system and sub-system requirement owners
- Responsible for carrying out and conducting the Test Cases
- Recording of evidence and data from testing to demonstrate robust feature sign off, compiling of Test Reports and gaining sign-off from the system and sub-system requirements owners
Job Specific Skills
-Knowledge of system engineering principles, with understanding of validation techniques throughout all stages of the engineering development 'V' cycle.
-System and Software test experience
-Knowledge of the systems and feature(s) within the area of responsibility
-Experience with authoring of test cases.

-Experience of creating test reports and compiling sign-off evidence
