IT Enterprise Architect
Mission/purpose
- Creates the boundaries for processes, services and technology that support the realization of business strategy.
- This role incorporates the requirements set by business and IT controls (including security and regulatory compliance), as well as focuses on optimizing support to run the business and providing the means to grow and transform the business.
- This role owns the organization's reference architecture, which all IT services have to adhere to, be based on or align with.
- In sourcing activities, the enterprise architect owns the technical architecture, either by definition or through an audit of external solutions.
Responsabilities:
- Has the responsibility to define and maintain the Architecture for his/her specific domain (Business Architecture, Data Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, Application Architecture, Security Architecture). The Architecture blueprint is consolidated in the IT Master Plan and Architecture Policies, Standards and Guidelines.
- Works closely with the outsourcing partner Architect to build a joined view of the IT Architecture that will fulfil the business needs and IT objectives. The IT Master Plan has to be agreed with the IT outsourcing partner.
- Is responsible to enforce Architecture rules and policies in project design. He/she will be a key contributor in project solution design. They will therefore work in close collaboration with the Domain Managers.
- Maintains contact with the group in his/her respective domain.
- Looks at technology and market trends that may impact his/her specific domain. He/she will take a leading role in identifying opportunities to introduce such technologies in the Mobistar landscape.
