Network Security Firewall Engineer (Juniper and/or Palo Alto) x2 Central Amsterdam
Immediate 2 months initial and extendable contract assignment for two Network Security Engineers (Palo Alto & Juniper) to work for a Global IT Service Provider onsite in the area of Amsterdam.
To qualify you must have the following:
- Excellent understanding of all aspects of networking
- Excellent knowledge and experience of Palo Alto Networks and Juniper Networks Firewalls deployment, rule changes, remediation and operational support
- Experience with high-availability configurations, network address translation, VPNs, static and dynamic routing, basic troubleshooting
- Ability to understand and perform conversion from existing layer3/layer4 Firewall policies (Juniper) to next-generation policies (Palo Alto Networks)incorporating application-id and security profiles configuration and implementation
- Self-starter and team member, experienced in working as part of a team on large security projects
Working on site at an international organisation where the office language is English
