Service RAN Planning and Optimization
Service Description:
RAN Planning
Creation of project in Atoll SW and its subsequent fine tuning to meet project's requirements;
Calibration of the propagation model;
Creation of traffic mapping based on the statistical data;
Calculation of the 2G network capacity based on the statistical model and traffic forecasts;
Calculation of the 3G and LTE network capacity based on the Monte-Carlo simulations and traffic forecasts;
Comparisson of the output power of base station with the calculated one;
Validation of the sites inspections reports;
Detailed planning of the site equipment based on the inspection results;
Data validation in Atoll;
Technical solutions validation to ensure the correctness of the planning data.
RAN Optimization
Drive-tests post procession;
Creation of statistical reports;
2G/3G/4G data consistency validation;
Radio access technology interrelations optimization;
Statistical data monitoring and recommendations
application of the optimization solutions for statistical data degradation reformation;
Radio sub-systems troubleshooting;
Activation and testing of the radio sub-systems' new functionality;
Parameters changes implementation in radio sub-system Ericsson and Nokia 2G/3G/4G.
Acceptance criteria for Service RAN Planning and Optimization :
RAN Planning
Preparation, validation and provision of Datafill tables for controllers' site configuration scripts creation;
Ericsson radio network parameters analysis for subsequent data utilization in Datafill creation;
Installment output power calculation for 2G Nokia equipment in accordance with the exchanges one.
RAN Optimization
Recommendations on 2G (3G/LTE optionally) parameters optimization in order to match KPI parameters to the baseline during equipment replacement, acceptance and detainment phases;
Recommendations on 2G, 2G-IRAT neighbours augmentation/deletion in order to reconcile KPI values to the baseline during equipment replacement, acceptance and detainment phases;
Recommendations on 2G functionality activation and introduction to BSS together with the reporting on functional performance.
Experience in Nokia and Ericsson 3G NPO activities is a plus
RUSSIAN SPEAKING ENGINEER HIGHLY PREFERED.
