Description

Senior Automation engineer required by a leading biopharmaceutical company in Northern Holland. This is a contract position until 2020.

Our client is a well-known pharmaceutical company based in Noord-Holland region with a lot of exciting projects scheduled for the coming years. With an international and hardworking team onboard they are looking for an Automation Lead on a contract basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • You will be responsible for developing the automation strategy.
  • You will be responsible for URSs for assigned project scope.
  • You will be supporting development of Functional Requirements Specifications for PLC and DCS software.
  • Together with the organisation you will define interfacing with existing automation systems.
  • You will be responsible for the delivery of a coordinated and agreed Basis of Design and Detailed Design for the assigned project scope.
  • You will be responsible for the design documents delivered by the EPCM contractor/system integrator for quality and consistency prior to publication.
  • You will be participating in FATs on software packages.
  • You will be supporting commissioning and qualification activities.
  • You will be responsible for design review support.
  • You will be leading internal automation team.
PROFILE
  • Preferably Bachelor's degree in Automation.
  • Technical knowledge and experience of pharmaceutical plants and processes.
  • Extensive knowledge of S88 standard.
  • Substantial experience in an Automation Engineering role.
  • Competent knowledge of automation validation guidelines and practices.
  • Full understanding of current Good Automation Practices (GAMP).
  • Experience in engineering for large capital investment projects.
  • Extensive experience with the implementation of DCS systems.
  • Experience with implementation of PLC systems.
  • Experience with Building Management Systems (preferably Siemens Design).
  • Competent knowledge of automation systems for pharmaceutical processes.
  • Knowledge of cGMP requirements.
  • Fluency in English, Dutch language is a plus.
PROJECT DURATION
  • Until end of the year initially with a possibility for an extension.
