A Global Pharmaceutical & Medical Device company based in Limerick are seeking several Software Automation Engineers to join them on a 6-12 month contract basis.This is an excellent opportunity to work in a long contract & gain or further your experience in the Pharmaceutical industry with a Leading organisation!
Rates are €45 per hour, however for the right candidate there may be some negotiation and overtime is paid extra by the hour, increasing the weekly pay signicantly.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Develop Functional & detailed design specifications from user requirements
- Develop code from functional & detailed design specifications
- Debug code using test & live equipment
- Fault find complex equipment
- Develop debug & validate control system software programs
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- Significant experience working with relevant equipment & systems
- Must have experience PLC control - AB ControlLogix, APT, Elau, S7, Mitsubishi
- Motion Control - AB servo, Delta control
- RFiD Systems
- Vision Systems
- Robots
- BCR
- Laser Systems
- HMI
- Equipment design/commissioning
- Full Automation project life cycle experience
- Automotive
- High speed manufacturing
- Packaging
- Assembly machines
