The IT Security Project Architect is assigned for appropriated projects:
- (Business) projects requiring fundamental changes to the E2E existing architecture (eg cloud, security segregation, identity and access management, third party integration)
- Introduction/change of major new solution components in the application/platform landscape.
The IT security project architect secures the solutions of the future!
Main responsibilities:
- Challenge/complete/elaborate the functional and non-functional security requirements.
- Design robust ETE security architectures for IT projects:
Deliver and document an integrated ETE security solution architecture, in close collaboration with the IT delivery teams (IT infrastructure design and IT application teams) and conformed to the security governance guidelines. - Elaborate if needed sustainable migration plan from "As-IS" to target architecture
- Provide adequate IT technical architecture design (hardware + software + network) compliant to security requirements
The IT Project Security Architect will have the following:
- Master Degree in Computer Sciences or Telecom engineer or equivalent by experience
- Extensive experience in analysis, development of technical solutions architecture in complex environment within large organization.
Skills
- Knowledge of, and practical experience with solution security architecture methods and practices; knowledge of SABSA is a plus
- You have experience with the identification, remediation and documentation of risks in IT solutions
- Experience in the various security domains (Access Control, Application Development Security, Cryptography, Network Security) is a must
- Knowledge of TOGAF and Archimate is a plus
- General knowledge of network security controls - Firewall, IDS/IPS, network access control and network segmentation
- Experience with security aspects of cloud solutions; identity federation, privacy, etc.
- Experience with application integration architecture; Middleware, ESB, API's
